Performance for Academic Achievement Awards

here is the performance from the "Anugerah Penuntut Cemerlang" 

for this performance we were requested to do songs in ENGLISH YIIKKKEESS...

as you know, its not often we do english songs....and motivational songs too....so it took me nearly a month, to train them, teach them enunciation and pronunciation, and getting them to remember the lyrics and movements ..whew....and this was the first time....that the Glee/Choir Club sang with LIVE ACCOMPANIMENT...usually just recorded hehehe.....

P.S you will hear a couple of idiots who cant take a video without keeping their ignorant mouth shut...@##holes....

we performed this song on 29th November, for the CCA  Awards, coincidentally November was P.Ramlee appreciation month in M'sia, his movies were played throughout and his songs echoed in the radios, a special Tribute Concert was made, a re-arranged song was made, a digital album release only for M'sia was made by Malaysian Indie Artists such as Azlan and The Typewriters, yuna, Meet Uncle Hussein and more....as for me? P.Ramlee is an indirect mentor to me, all that i am today in the performing arts world is because of him, he is a singer, songwriter, actor, producer, director, playwright, humanitarian and many more....his passing is a great loss to the world.

He will be missed..

Memories : 2007 (Asean Corner)

Once upon a Time, I was asked to spear head a combo of 3 Schools Choir

(SMSHusain , SMSHassan and SM Masin)

to sing for the launching of the ASEAN Corner in SM Masin :D

a heavy task it was, as i also at that time did not remember how to play the piano,

hence finding a Minus one was also impossible, so we went acapella

we sang 2 songs, 1. Anding and 2. Let us move Ahead (ASEAN theme song)

ah memories... :D

The CHOIR/GLEE Club won most of the Prizes

For an end of the year activity, we organised:

1.Karaoke Competition ( we Got 5th,4th,3rd and 2nd)

2.Poetry Reciting Competition (4th Place)

3.Drama Competition (3rd Place)

4.Talent Competition (we got 5th, 4th and 2nd)

ermmm im not sure...i forgot most...OH DEAR ME....

2011 Choir Auditions

I think its best that we make the auditions early so that we have time to pick a song ( or make new one) and then TRAIN AS HARD AS WE CAN ...huhuu....

I suggest doing a Team A or Team B OR 2-3 Reserves for Each of the Four Voices.....

hmmmm...

I have a lot to think about that...cause...well, 

if im going to make a new song , the magic has to Start Early and Ends Amazingly

if im going to use an existing song, how do i rearrange the song to be Magnificent

Should i or should i not use a solo?

Running 5th and 8ths , 1 and 4........Ascendo Crescendo...Staccato Andante....Sigh...
